Hydro mix blasting is a for m of low –
impact surface preparation that uses the blast media hydromix . The material is
Non flammable , non toxic and non hazardous providing user friendly technique
with the help of hydromix blast machine . the media is applied to substrates
,.wet or dry ,by high velocity compressed air or water ranging from 75 to 100
psi , Upon contact with the substrate , the hydromix particles explode to
removing the containment in a non abrasive manner . Once the surface has been
treated it must be rinsed thoroughly to remove residue . the material is water
soluble , providing easy clean up .if the process is done by dry ,dust is
created which must be removed .however it is most frequently applied with water
which act as dust suppressant . the hydromix impacts the coated surface and
removes old coatings from the substrate .the water dissipates the heat
generated by the abrasive. |
