The Krautzberger spray run Rasant is suitable for all
commercially available blasting agents such as copper slag, blast furnace slag,
steel shot, corundum, glass pearls, granulated nut shells etc. with a grain
size of
0.1 to 0.8 mm.
The Rasant gun is used for removing rust from car body parts, car wing edges,
door joints, wheel rims etc. that are extremely hard to get at, for descaling
welding joints, for frosting and scale marking of glass bodies and plastic
components, for blasting of stone cutters’ inscriptions and blasting of ingot
moulds, for roughening of chamois leather or gluing edges on plastic
components, and for enhancing the grain of wooden parts.
The Rasant is fitted with a hard material blasting nozzle (ceramic
oxide) as standard. Tungsten carbide nozzles are also available on request.
